New play swinging its way to Roscommon

Roscommon Arts Centre is delighted to welcome back Fishamble: The New Play Company with their production of Swing, a new show about dancing, music, and love - and not settling, and being brave, and having doubts, and giving it a lash, and trying your best! With rock and roll music, it’ll make you want to dance! Winner of the Bewley’s Little Gem Award at Dublin Fringe Festival 2013, Swing comes to Roscommon on Thursday July 17 at 8pm.

Tommy Fleming returns to Roscommon for autumn tour

Tommy Fleming returns to Roscommon Arts Centre as part of his biggest Irish tour to date, performing here on Friday November 1. After the success of his recently released album Begin and his 2012 tour, performing to 50,000 people across Ireland, Tommy returns to Roscommon after a hugely successful open air concert in Lough Key as part of The Gathering celebrations last May.

LotusEater performance at Roscommon Arts Centre

LotusEater are a four piece trip/rock band who will perform at the Roscommon Arts Centre gallery as part of their ongoing collaboration with artist Aoibheann Greenan. The band’s performance will incorporate the costumes and props that have, up until that point, acted as sculptural assemblages in the gallery space. The band will activate the works within the space and will be the closing act for Greenan’s solo exhibition in the gallery space.
